Arrival to Rovaniemi, the world-famous home of the Santa Claus. Make yourself comfortable in your new home in an Arctic resort. Imagine spending the whole night under the open sky, but in a warm bed. This is a great chance to witness the auroras shimmering and dancing in the skies.

Spend the whole day in the Santa village. It is a truly magical place for the young and old alike, when you can witness the wonder of Santa Claus and his industrious elves. Join the Elf school, taste gingerbread cookies in Mrs. Gingerbread’s Kitchen, take a ride on the Magic Train, send greetings from the Post Office, and of course meet Santa himself.
Hungry? Even lunch can become an unforgettable experience if you choose to eat at the Ice restaurant.
Visiting the Santa Claus village is a full-day activity. Here you can do a lot of different things: small children can pet animals at the Elf Yard, whereas older ones can learn about Christmas traditions from all around of the world at the Christmas Exhibition.

Today you will go to Arktikum – an outstanding museum where you can experience northern nature and find out about life in the world’s northernmost regions. See, explore and enjoy the Arctic stories shared through the experiential exhibitions.
Continue to Ranua Wildlife Park. In this Arctic forest you can meet polar bears and 50 other Arctic animals. Follow a local guide on short and interesting trails and observe animal behavior from a short distance.
Free evening in Rovaniemi to discover the interesting fact about this town on your own. Did you know that this town is even planned in a special way with major streets in the shape of a reindeer’s head and antlers?

Today you will leave the major touristic sight of Lapland and travel to the north, to the untouched Lappish wilderness and the center for Finland’s Sámi culture. It is a truly alternative destination for anyone seeking to ‘get away from it all.’
The Inari village is perfect place for all sorts of winter adventures. Visit a husky farm, where you will get to know these friendly dogs that are made to run. After some instruction you can start with a husky safari and try to drive a husky sled in the winter wonderland. Experience the excitement of the dogs as they eagerly wait to pull you at a speedy pace through the breathtaking Lappish scenery.

Inari is the best place to get acquainted with the Sami – an endangered nomadic ethnic group. Join our Sami culture tour and see Finland’s Sami Parliament, the altarpiece of the Sami Church and visit the Sami museum. You will learn about their traditional crafts and taste Sami cuisine.
In the evening you will get back your dog team and start a different adventure – the night safari and Northern Lights hunt. Go to the dark wildness, where you might be lucky to see the Northern lights.

Today we invite you to experience the old traditional Sami way of travelling – reindeer sled. You will visit a Sami traditional homestead and travel the Arctic just the way they used to.
Take a step back in time as you sit in a wooden sleigh gently pulled by a reindeer while listening to the silence of the snowy forest. After the ride there will be a chance to warm up by the fire with hot juice while listening to the stories about the everyday life of reindeer farmers. You will also learn a great deal about the reindeer, the survivors of the Arctic region and their annual cycle.
Spend the last day of your Arctic adventure in the Inari village. Here you can relax in a traditional Lapland sauna or perhaps check out the superb handicrafts shops where you can anything from Arctic cosmetics, to traditional jewelry, to Sami reindeer boots.
